Waving goodbye

Hello there!

I know it's been a long time since my last creation (over a year! damn!) and I wanted to pass by to say hi!

What has kept me busy? Well it was my last year in college, and I've been preparing my final with which I will graduate if I pass, it's half effort half luck in this exam, so I dont really know what my future holds that day. It's soon, and I'm sick nervous!
Oh! I'll be a graphic designer with a shiny title if I pass it, little of you knew what I was studying to begin with! lol
I also got a job (yay!) in an agency as a graphic designer, and that has consumed most of my time, along with the finals and going to the gym.

So in short, I'm doing fine! And I'm still alive! lol I've received many emails and comments and private messages from fans concernced about me and my life, so this is my thanking you for still having a warm memory from me in your heart! After all this time...

And of course, you may be interested wether I'm going to keep creating for any sims game or not, the answer is no. It makes me sad too, but my time here has passed, I've been around for 4 years anyway, more than I thought I'd last lol
There aren't many reasons for this, just personal things like losing interest in TS3 completely, not really feeling like learning all the new tools and props for TS4 (I got spoiled with TS3 creations tools, everything was so easy!) though they may have gotten better after a year, I still have to learn that and I'd rather spend my energy somewhere else, my dream is to become a videogame designer someday, so who knows if you'll play with my creations again in the future!


Let me finish saying THANK YOU for all these amazing years and great memories working along with you, you helped me so much to go through my toughest times, and your love and appreciation made me stay longer giving you the best from me because you deserved it.

About Sims3Packs!

Hi! I've seen that many of you ask me to make sims3pack versions out of stuff that is only in package. Please let me tell you that:

What it is in package format,

cannot be converted in sims3pack format. 

Please, stop asking for it, 

because I can't do such thing.

I will always offer sims3pack when possible,

don't worry! :)

About Peggy hairs not showing up since patch 1.26

Hi! It's me making an announcement again XD
Many, many of you have told me that child and toddler versions of Peggy hairs don't work anymore since the patch 1.26 came out. Well, I have no idea why does this happen, those hairs don't work for me either, and I don't know if it's fixable or not, at least now there's nothing I can do since I totally ignore the reason why those hairs no longer appear in CAS. All I can say, just delete them from your Mods/Packages folder, because there are a plain waste of space and resources right now. I merely retextured those hairs, I don't support them and I'm not responsible of this kind of malfunction, that's something Peggy should do and work on.


TL;DR: I know some Peggy hairs don't work, but there's nothing I can do about it. Just delete them till we found a solution! (if we ever find one)

I know many of you have been asking me for LL's stuff, where can you get them, if I can share it, etc. LemonLeaf has decided to share her stuff at GameSir because of the problem she had with a TSR artist, and most of the occidental simmers are unable to access to that site (me included). You must know I am NOT going to upload ANY of LL's creations on my site or include it with my sims. If you need it, have to get it from GameSir or else register at SimsCave and download it from their forums (it's free and safe, don't worry)

Just my simmies posing, not CC based on Amy until I see some cool new clothes from her :)

EA's Highlights VS Adjust-Shine Highlights ~ All you need to know!

Have you ever wondered what is the difference between EA's Highlights and Adjust-Shine Highlights? Well is time for my to explain that the best I can! And with pictures of course :D

First of all, what are higlights?

Highlights can be changed on the hair section of your CAS screen. They appear as fine lines across your base color, the third button from the top.

EA's Highlights

This type of highlights is used by EA on their meshes, these are streaks along the hair that you may use to add more deepness to the texture.

As you can see on the picture, the green streaks are the highlights used for this method. To get the best result, use light colors on dark hairs like black, brown or ginger, and dark colors for light colored hairs, like blonde for example. This way, you'll add deepness to the hair. It may take some time to use it correctly but the results are fantastic!

Adjust-Shine Highlights

This type of highlights is used by several creators such as Peggy, NewSea, Rose, TumTum and many others. With this method, you are able to change the color of the area of the hair where it is supposed to shine. Let's see an example:

You may notice how the green areas on the right picture match the white/gray areas on the left picture. That means you can use any color to choose how shiny you want your hair. This method tends to make hairs more realistic and shiny looking, in comparison of "EA's Highlights". You have to pick a color that is lighter than the base color of your hair, for example: if you hair is brown, pick the same color for the highlights and then make it lighter, whiter looking.

Possible upcoming hairs ~ Good enough to share?
